Ms. Karleigh has always had a love for teaching and she is very proud to say that she followed in the footsteps of her mother by becoming a Preschool teacher. She is originally from Sumter, SC and majored in Sociology with a minor in General Education at the University of South Carolina at Columbia. Ms. Karleigh has been working in Early Childhood Education for eight years and feels very blessed to be starting her second year here at Redeemer. When she’s not teaching, you can find Ms. Karleigh walking her dog Stella around downtown or hunting for shark’s teeth on Folly Beach! She also enjoys singing, playing guitar, reading, and crocheting with her grandma. She is very excited for this school year!
Ms. Megan is originally from Fairborn, OH where she graduated with a B.F.A in Theatre Performance from Wright State University. After spending 4 years in Chicago, Ms. Megan and her husband moved to Charleston where she has been teaching and nannying ever since. Throughout her career, she has worked as a nanny, teacher, and children's theatre director at various schools in Ohio, Chicago and Charleston. When she's not at Redeemer spending her day with her preschoolers, she is spending time with her new baby, Olive and her husband, Cameron.
