Mr. Josh was born and raised in California. He came to South Carolina with his wife, Brooke, in order to pursue his dream of becoming an occupational therapist. He received his B.S in kinesiology from California State University - Monterey Bay. He loves working with children and loves teaching the children all about science. He spent time working with 4 and 5-year-olds for a year in school and grew fond of the imagination of the children he worked with. He believes he can learn more from the children than they learn from him. His biggest goal at Redeemer is to help the children learn to critically think. When he is not teaching, you can find him working with his chickens, or helping his wife protect the dolphins and whales of South Carolina. He also loves rugby, building crafts, scuba diving and hanging out with his cat Bam Bam.
Hi I’m Ms. Ashley! I have lived in Charleston, SC my whole life. I majored in HRTM from the University of South Carolina. After graduating I spent about 15 years in the Food and Beverage Industry, mainly catering, in and around the Columbia area, Augusta and the Charleston area. My interest and love for teaching and being around preschool children was discovered after volunteering at my children’s’ preschool. I became a teacher assistant 4 years ago and haven't looked back! This will be the start of my 2nd year with Redeemer. When I’m not at Redeemer you can find me on the sports fields and in the gym with my children. They will be 3rd and 4th graders this year, and boy are they busy! When we find some free time we love to spend it with friends and family. We enjoy the beach, the mountains, and our new found adventure/challenge….Boating!
